LUNCHTIMES. From Septemeber we will no longer be having lunch within the morning session. Lunch will now occur at 12.30 pm, so if your child is staying all day at the setting then they will need a packed lunch. For those children that do the afternoon session lunch is optional,please let staff know if they will be having lunch when they come in. Please ensure that your child's lunch is brought into the setting in a small lunch bag and not in their school bags or large bags as they are too large to fit into the fridge. KEYWORKERS Next term we are making changes to the keyperson system. Your child will be remaining with their keyperson that they are with at the moment, but we will be changing their group recognition picture to colour/shape.
General Information.
Your child needs to come into
the setting with a pair of spare clothes, as accidents can occur. Please also
make sure that they come in with appropriate clothing for the weather e.g coat
if it is raining. Please can parents/carers ensure that all childrens clothes,
coats lunch boxes and drink bottles are clearly named.
The setting is in
desperate need of any parent volunteers that have good knowledge of computers
e.g hardrives; software etc, if you would be able to kindly donate any time in
helping us with the smooth running of the computers.If you feel
you may be able to do this then please come in and either speak to Nicole or
Leanne, any help would be greatly appreciated.
We always
welcome and need parent volunteers. There is a volunteer sheet on our fire exit
door and on the bumbles entrance door if you want to put your name down,
otherwise speak to Mani if you are interested.
Lunch Boxes- PLEASE may we
remind parents not to include in them fizzy drinks; chocolates, peanuts and
sweets.
We would to remind parents that we now have a payment
box outside the office door, if you would like to leave an envelope of money
with your childs name and the amount enclosed within (instead of giving it to
Leanne) then you are more than welcome to do so, a receipt will then be left in
the preschool/bumbles room for you to pick up.
The gates need to be kept closed
at all times for the safety of you children. Please do not use the fire exit
door, unless a member of staff is manning it.
The setting now has an emergency phone number, this being
07963341990. In bad
weather conditions, if you are unsure whether we are open or no, you can get
hold of us on that number. As a setting we are always looking for donations, if you have
anything at home that you do not use anymore or know of anybody that has
anything of use to us, then please feel free to bring it it. Examples of what
would be useful are: garden toys, plants, tyres, guttering, balls, we can make
use of just about anything.
